Assistant Branch Manager - Retail Banking Officer

Description:
Under the guidance and direction of the Branch Manager, the Retail Banking Officer is responsible for achieving sales goals, and will assume all Branch Manager responsibilities in the absence of the Branch Manager. You must possess a thorough knowledge of all branch related functions, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to work effectively with staff. You must have a minimum of 5 years in banking with 2 year supervisory experience. A High School diploma is required, CFT coursework and college degree are preferred. You will report to the Branch Manager.

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

• Implementing branch sales strategies developed with the Branch Manager
• Assist the Branch Manager in conducting business development calls to: strengthen relationships with existing customers, and develop new customer relationships.
• Assist Branch Manager to coach personnel monthly on all performance areas
• Write and deliver performance reviews, career development, training, disciplinary/corrective actions.
• Ensure branch staff follow USB Quality Service Standards
• Assist the Branch Manager in maintaining the safety and soundness of the branches.
