We are seeking a Manager - Residential Mortgage & Consumer Lending
to supervise the day-to-day operations of the consumer and residential
origination and servicing functions of the department in conformance
with bank and regulatory policy.
The Primary Responsibilities include:

Manages, schedules, trains, coaches, develops, and counsels the
consumer and residential underwriting, processing, and servicing
staff on a day-to-day basis.
• Oversees the workflow of the department, streamlining processes
and implementing procedures for efficiency and customer service
delivery as appropriate.
• Conducts regular and intensive training of department staff
with a focus on product knowledge, customer service, and quality
control.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products and on-line
loan servicing systems, including OSI, Insight, etc., providing
guidance to staff with their administration and operation on an
as needed basis.
• Addresses customer inquiries and resolves problems appropriately
within a timely manner through the use of positive written and verbal
communications and persuasion skills.
• Possesses, utilizes, and maintains a strong working knowledge
of all lending compliance regulations.
The Position Qualifications include:
• Associates Degree preferred and/or 3 – 5 years experience
in a Residential Mortgage Servicing environment, including 2-4 years
supervisory experience, or a comparable combination of education
and experience.
• Excellent knowledge of on-line loan servicing software systems.
• Good management, supervisory and training skills.
• Strong communications skills with the ability to deal with
people beyond giving and receiving instructions such as in a team,
supervisory, marketing, or counseling setting.
• Able to perform under stress when confronted with critical
time-line constraints and large work volumes.
• Bank policy, procedure, and regulatory knowledge.
• For training purposes, the incumbent may be required to
visit one or more branches out of the bank, as well as organizations
outside of the bank.
