Regional
Branch Manager
The
Regional Branch manager will effectively administer the entire retail
branch office operations of Windsor Federal Savings. The Regional
Branch Manager will direct the customer service and sales activities
of our 5 retail branch offices to improve bank-wide efficiency and
profitability and to attract, retain, and maintain individual and
retail business. This position is also responsible for the management
of the Main Office Branch.
The
Primary Responsibilities include:
Directs
and implements sales and service programs and activities within
the retail banking branch network in order to remain competitive
within the surrounding financial community. Organizes and directs
call programs and provides training and guidance to retail staff.
Works with Branch Managers to attain individual branch performance
objectives for branch office deposit volume, loan volume, operational
efficiency. Provides sales and product training to staff. Addresses
customer complaints, questions, and provides financial counseling
to customers. Effectively manages the Main Office Branch including
various aspects of the day-to-day operations of the office and may
provide coverage to other Offices in the absence of the Manager.
Holds regularly scheduled staff meetings with all Retail Banking
Staff. Effectively manages the performance appraisal and other human
resources related processes including hiring. Recommends policies,
procedures, to ensure effective operations.
The Position Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s
Degree in business, finance, or related field and 6-8 years of experience
in retail banking and/or some comparable combination of education
and experience. Extensive knowledge of bank products, bank regulations
(state and federal), bank operating policies and procedures, employee
development, public relations. Good management, supervisory, training,
human resource skills. Strong sales and communications skills. Ability
to perform under stress when confronted with emergency or unusual
situations. Proficient operation of a personal computer, teller
terminal, Microsoft Software such as Work, Excel, Outlook. Excellent
written and verbal communications skills; strong customer service
orientation. Able to maintain relationships that facilitate task
accomplishment, to cooperate and resolve conflicts, to recognize
needs and be sensitive to others. Able to work independently as
well as in a team based environment. Able to learn quickly with
a strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
